COOi Studios visited a Northern Cape Mine during April 2021. During this visit, COOi team had an opportunity to pilot some of its developed 4IR technology (AI, IoT,
AR, VR, 3D printing) solutions to department managers of the mine. The solutions that were piloted were pre-developed to beta level. The objectives of the pilot week was to:
â–ª Create technology immersive experiences for unit managers of the mine
â–ª Generate further use cases for the technologies to be considered for improving efficiencies at the mine
â–ª Test the solutions within the mine against the various use cases and further develop where required within the pilot
â–ª Showcase use case relevant solutions at the end of the pilot week
